Badrinath Temple Painting

livinginpainting News

Badrinath – One of the most famous & one of my favorite places, this is the most energetic place I have ever seen,

Shri Badrinath Dham, situated on the bank of Alaknanda, place is also known as Alkapuri, the temple stands in the valley of Narayan parvat (mountains) & on the bank of the Narayan parvat (Mountain) there is Neelkanth parvat (Mountain), Nar parvat is opposite to the temple where shops & residential area of local can be seen, In between Nar & Narayan parvat Alaknanda River touches the feet of Lord Badrinath.

The temple was re-established years ago by Adiguru- Shankracharya, Skand Puran tells us how the idol of Lord Vishnu re-established the temple, there are many stories around the world that how Shri Badrinath Temple was re-established by Adi Guru Shankracharya, Adi guru meditated in Jyotirmath where got to know about the statue of lord Badrinath is in Narad Kund.

The lord statue is in meditation posture, or Padmasana Posture.

There is a story that this region of Himalayas is of Lord Shiva, and how the Lord Vishnu came here because you will see Lord Vishnu Temples are in the south region of India & moreover everyone knows from their childhood that the Lord Shiva lives in the Himalayas.

Shri Badrinath is also known as Shri Vishnu Bhagwan

The main gate of the temple is quite colorful and artistic, with a big gong hanging on the door, which impresses visitors with an artifact of the gate; the main gate leads visitors to the temple premises.

This place is my favorite place in the world, and there is a reason behind it, it’s because whenever I feel low, going to this place brings a hope like a small ray of light in a dark room, It took 4-5 hours daily for 12 days to paint this, Started with the sky then one by one mountain than with the top of the temple, painting it was like painting the original temple, it was like I am really painting it, I lived every breath in the painting.

It was quite difficult to paint it and giving so much detailings to the painting but as my favorite author says, Masterpieces takes time & Patience, so that is the reason why this small painting took 64 hours, everytime you will see the painting it will look like a new one, which gives you a tremendous amount of energy, I wanted to share all those positive vibes I feel, while painting it and afterward, I wanted to share that energy with everyone so I thought the best way to send it will be Post Card & Poster Prints, and I printed them and sending them to everyone, you can get yours from Shop.livinginpainting.com.

So I planned my trip to Badrinath as I mentioned in my previous blogs, and launched it there, It was a beautiful moment, a moment to remember for life, which I also captured in a photograph.
